As new mothers, the three of us discovered that there was a need for modern and funky shoes for babies and toddlers that were also lightweight, soft, super flexible and affordable. The more we spoke with other moms like us, the more we realized we weren’t alone in our search. We soon came to the realization that the only way to find these shoes was to create our own company and fill the niche ourselves. So while our children slept and between feedings and diaper changes we began a year of research that included many sleepless nights, lots of support from our husbands and plenty of inspiration from the adventurous lives we share with our children. Finally, in May 2005 Livie & Luca was born and take it from us there was no epidural involved!
Livie & Luca baby and toddler shoe creations incorporate brightly colored leathers, bold designs and whimsical modern touches that capture the playful essence of childhood. Our comfortable shoe construction allows beginning walkers, toddlers and preschoolers to navigate playgrounds, city streets and dirt pathways with style and ease.
We are committed to sharing our unique style with families who may not always want to shop at a “big box” store by offering our baby and toddler shoes online, through in-home parties, and through special boutiques.

Artisan Touch
We want people to remember that our baby and toddler shoes are made by hand. In this spirit, we’ve asked our shoe makers to leave their markings which can be found under the strap. Because they are handmade, every pair of shoes will be a little different. Each pair of shoes is as unique as the child who wears them.
We are passionate about our baby and toddler shoes and all of their possibilities. We truly believe that our baby and toddler shoes are capable of spreading a little joy while providing little citizens with a comfortable and adorable shoe!
