Other Initiatives
Since we began, Livie & Luca has donated over $500,000 to non-profit organizations supporting children's development and well-being.
Part of being a sustainable company is giving back to our communities in order to strengthen them. In strong, vibrant, connected communities, our kids are free to be kids!
Building Playgrounds
Over the past ten years, we’ve built three playgrounds with the non-profit, Kaboom! in economically-disadvantaged neighborhoods in Richmond, California. We were honored to not only fund the playgrounds, but to volunteer our time to help with the build.
READ MOREShoe Donations
We’ve given away thousands of pairs of shoes - including one major donation of 1,700 pairs of shoes to Holy Family Day Home in San Francisco, which provides affordable, high quality, early childhood education and family support services.
Through a buy-one-give-one program, we've given 1,547 pairs of shoes to Baby2Baby, a national-reaching non-profit that provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing, and basic necessities.
We’ve also given away single shoes to the National Odd Shoe Exchange, a non-profit organization that provides footwear for people requiring single shoes or pairs of differing sizes. They provide shoes to people with various conditions or causes, like amputation, diabetes, and lymphedema.
Promoting Diversity
Livie & Luca has been part of a movement to include children with disabilities in our advertising, initiated by the Changing the Face of Beauty Campaign. We believe that beauty comes in all forms and encourage other companies to represent the diversity of our population in their advertising practices.
